Has making a pass at a woman just become illegal?

And now there are more because people are idiots and cant behave unless told to by laws.

Well, that's what happens when you allow alien cultures to propagate within your country. Especially cultures that are renowned for treating women as either second class citizens or objects.

I love how much it seems to anger people that Chris Wilson has been in what must be a successful marriage given that it's lasted 45 years.
Well I'm sure his attitude is a bit different when his wife is standing there with a rolling pin making him do the dusting to what it is on here ;)

But the law is not for 'normal interactions'. Its against the abnormal and laying them out so it is clear. Harrasment is not okay anymore.
It was never OK however in the past it was what would probably be considered something done by 'reasonable people' because it's what a lot of men did and women put up with, some things that were acceptable or done by a lot of people in the past may not be acceptable in today's world. Society moves on and just because you did something as a teenager it doesn't mean it will be acceptable when you're in your 50-60's.

Did you miss the thread where he describes women who aren't virgins as second hand? Of course he's been married a long time, he had to get in early.

Come on, you can troll subtler than that idiotic race baiting.

Borne out by the stats of sexual crime offenders I'm afraid. Don't like it? Take it up with them.

Take a look at the stats for younger offenders in particular (the age groups most likely to immigrate to the UK).

"BME sex offenders are hugely over represented in the younger groups (for example, in the 21-29 year old group, Black offenders are 16.8 per cent of this group and Asian offenders are 13.2 per cent – together they represent 30 percent of the whole group)."

Of course it was never okay but the people that are complaining against this law did think it was okay. Even during the #metoo movement people were still claiming grabbing arse and being creepy or rapey was okay.

Again, creepy is subjective. I don't even know how you define rapey!

I thought the stalking laws already covered this and anyway I’m in favor of it despite harassing a girl via email some 20 years ago due to my failing mental health.

Said with a seeming total lack of awareness of the thread this was posted in.

Or full appreciation of the fact that cultural change over time should have these issues sodding off and confined to older generations. However the trend is going the opposite way and is driven by a disproportionate number of the offenders being BME, particularly young BME men. The group most likely to be recent immigrants to the country. Immigrants who tend to be arriving from countries where the treatment of women is appalling. Just because they arrive in the UK doesn't suddenly mean they're going to turn in to model citizens. They bring their culture with them. Both the good aspects and, as per this instance, the bad aspects.
