My mother wants to kill me for running a GTX660 and a GTX460 24/7 folding... I told her it is for cancer research and she decided that the power draw was worth it then.

I'm sure if you buy a few GTX780's and fold with them she'll be OK with it.

You presume correctly, but also if you are using a program that can make use of Intels Quicksync, then that will use the built-in gfx core to speed things up a bit.
