Update from the devs

"This is the time of key sending" grin emoticon

Hey all!

It's been a while, but at last we've managed everything and sending your game pre-order keys today on your e-mails!

And we've got a little surprise! You're going to get actually TWO GAME KEYS - one is the Steam game key and the second is Desura key. It means you're getting two version of Hatred. You're free to use one of them and give the second to your friend or sell it anywhere. It's yours! Spread the Hatred! wink emoticon We've had a little lag with these, because we've had to finalize a few things with Desura.

If anyone who pre-ordered won't recieve the e-mail with keys within next 24 hours, don't hestitate to write here: [email protected]
We know that some e-mail providers are blocking e-mails from Poland and we will resolve these problems manually. smile emoticon

Tough months are coming for us, I'm ready to forget about free Saturdays right now. We have to push the development very hard not to screw our internal release date, which will be announced soon. Be ready for more!

And for the record, you still can pre-order the game here: www.preorder.hatredgame.com

P. S. And a little screenie for you guys.

Update and release date confirmed by the devs :D

Hi all!
We wish to announce Hatred's release date, it's set for June 1st, this year of course. :)

For 99% it's a final release date, as the game is almost complete at the moment, we're on the final polishing stage. Fun fact is that we wanted to release it on May 19th, but our team will be occupied with playing The Witcher 3 at the time. :D
Along with this great news, we wish to present you the last gameplay trailer. It contains intense footage of our gameplay, we're showing much more than we ever did. We hope you'll like it and spread it on the web.
Like and share, let the Hatred embrace this world!

They also posted a new 'Human Shields' gameplay trailer but can't link due to swearies etc.

Have to say I'm not comfortable with it. There's a line somewhere that deems what is acceptable to glorify in a game, and this is definitely tending to the wrong side of it.

I will probably get this game, though I confess to feeling uneasy watching that bit of the trailer when the woman is burning alive, screaming in agony in her own home. There aren't any kids in this game are there? That would be a red line for me if there were.

They should force people to play games like this, if you show any violent tenancies afterwards.. JAIL.

Crazies gonna crazy

I believe there was footage of a school shooting section (not sure if it made it into the final game) so I'm guessing there are kids.

I have to question why someone would want to play a game that is purely focused on those aspects, sure other games have some aspects of it but its not the focus of the gameplay or why you are playing the game :S

The team obviously have talent so I'm a little sad to see them not putting it to something a bit more constructive.

I hope it wasn't a serious question because it's probably the most ridiculous I've ever read on this forum.

Uh he makes a very good point.

Though I doubt I'd play a game where that was even a small part of it even if it wasn't the focus of such a game.

It was a serious question as a counter to the proposition that it's 'just a game' so ethical and moral objections over subject matter need not apply.

Everyone has a line (I would hope) somewhere.
