Have vs. of

This mistake drives me crazy when I see it, and yes, I WILL judge you as an illiterate. How hard can it be to just use "have"? Same with "it's" vs. "its", "there" vs. "they're" vs. "their". Do they not teach these things in school any more? (I am not a native English speaker)

What scares me is that this will one day be considered proper/acceptable use of the english language, just like the improper use of apostrophes.

It's just pure laziness in my opinion, surely it doesn't take that long to re-read what you have written so as to not come across as a 6 year old trying to grasp the basics of the English language

Language evolves, just like nobody says "Ye Olde Shoppe" anymore

You lot sound like a bunch of old Grandads, just accept (see I spelt it right this time) that language changes and that words like "innit" and "lol" have become a standard in the English language.

Or should we start ripping into how "AmericaniZed" (yes I used a Z to prove my point) our (yes OUR!) language has become, I actually heard a kid say "sidewalk" the other day!!

Mistakes like this is what causes language to evolve.

But that doesn't make it right. It's really just annoying.
