Have you run Winrar Cpu Bench Mark?

The Winrar benchmark doesn't give any indication that its finished other than high-lighting a maximum MB/s throughput figure, she may have been looking for a finished indicator which Winrar doensn't display ;)

those of you getting very low scores, do you have anythign else running, eg seti?
might be DC clients are at equal/higher priority and thus lowering your scores

I score 1653, 1023 running single thread. From looking at the results on here I don't really think we can use this as a decent benchmark really ;). I might bump the rig back up to 3.8 or so but not sure when I will get around to doing that to do another test tbh.

I think it's probably a buggy benchmark, too many unknowns. Score can vary +- 100 points each run. I propose we discard it?

It was more from the minimal effect that the cpu clock has on the outcome - as someone said earlier in the thread ' More memory bandwidth = a happy Winrar ' :)
