Have you run Winrar Cpu Bench Mark?

Can you find this screen in your bios? if you can change the top 5 values to the same as screen shot leave the bottom on auto, this is a good starting point for further tweakng.

i think i use to have my ddr at 5.4.3.6 and the last ones i reduced aswell but i forgot to back the settings up when i reflashed the bios and havent gotten around to tweaking the ddr yet hehe

still im more intrested in trying to reduce my latency

i think i had my ddrs tref setting at 3.9us if i remember correctly
i once had a awsome ddr speeds and my ddr was at stock aswell but i still had incredible read and write and latency

10xxx read
9xxx write
8xxx copy
41ns

those do sound fimilure ;)

huge difference with 0.1ghz increase

Sure is for a 100MHz increase :D

Probably mentioned this before but this benchmark like others cant be compared the OS has to be like for like, i.e. Vista - Vista as XP seems to produce very high scores, maybe WinRar isn’t optimised for Vista yet, so you should state operating systems :p

Your ram timing is quite slack. You could try running the memory at 4-4-4-12 or 15 which will make a difference to winrar bench. Worth a try if your ok with manual settings for ram. The cpu multiplier could be dropped to 8x allowing an increase in ram speed seeing as the memory is rated at 800MHz and your current multiplier is allowing 774. Just my 2 bobs worth :)

P.s. Just now see you're running 4GB this does make a difference when overclocking apparently, maybe your system is as tight as it can be.

Ok well re-run normally some rather odd results doesnt seem to want to use all my cores at 100% :(

With no multi-threading it loads one core to 100% and I get:

WinRARSingle.jpg

with multi-threading loads cores to around 80-85% and I get:
