Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

That WC looks about perfect. Pity about the warranty.
Hopefully they'll be in stock sometime before June. Do you have the slightest hint on an ETA ?

Potentially dumbass question:

Are these scalers needed to run the monitor in full-screen resolutions lower than native?

The reason I ask is because I'm visually impaired, and have to have Windows in a lower res to be able to read what's on screen. I've tried running in native on my current screen, and using Windows Accessability options to make everything larger, but it causes a million and 1 little problems that make it impractical (for me at least).

I think it's actually the opposite. Even if i'm mistaken, your GPU can do what you are asking for, as far as i know. Badass is the expert in this area though :)

Have you tried imcrwasing the dot pitch/text size under control panel?

Not trying to be an ass or anything but wouldn't you be better off with a screen that does 1920x1200 @ 26" than this?

Yes, this causes problems. It might be ok for a little while, then a dialogue box will appear with the "Ok" and "Cancel" buttons off the bottom of the screen etc. It's one of the many little bugs that make it frustrating to use.

no, it can still take a lower res as you ouput from your graphics card. I tried it with several. basically the lack of scalers means there is no 1:1 pixel mapping or anything so what you output is what you see :)

lol that's what I was just thinking...

Basically we've got a lot of people sitting here waiting to purchase...

Would probably be a good move on part of Hazro to shed a little light on what they are doing atm..

no, afraid I've had no response. read into that what you will. i expect there's been some delays but they surely cant be far off. perhaps they are finalising a deal with a retailer as opposed to selling direct :)

Baddass, do you know if those new lcds come with same, 3 years warranty?

not 100% sure but expect them to come with same warranty as the HZ30Wi models when they are released. dont see why they wouldn't

Same here - sold my screen and have money for C version. I hope it comes out next week and I'll get one, cause dont want to stay long without a monitor:(
