Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

Come on Hazro, I've been waiting to buy a new monitor for 2 months now based on the news. That's two months without a new screen when my old one is dying because of your promises. I'm not going to wait much longer, this is getting ridiculous.

News please, and if you say "in two weeks", I'm going to go loopy.

Hazro/Badass

Can either of you confirm the weight of the 27 WA yet? I want to buy an arm now, but obviously I want to make sure it will handle the 27 when it's released.

Thanks.

Has anyone any idea how long it is going to be (Hazro maybe ?) before the 30" model is in stock. Im leaning towards selling my 2 week old 120Hz Asus monitor in favour of a bigger screen.
Its a toss up between the Hazro and the 27" Dell depending on how long its going to be as Im not very patient.

i've asked Hazro the question about availability so will report back when i know more. afraid i dont know the weight of the units and dont have any scales to hand :(

Nice one Badass! keep up the good work!!!!

As with a guy that posted earlier, factory colour accuracy, contrast etc (due to no osd) and input lag are the most important to me and I guess quite a few others. Otherwise i feel a WA variant is in order!

Screen performance aside though, some clarification on availability and warranty would be good too.

Does it look exactly the same? Only difference is DVI only input?

yes indeed. different connections on the back. this one has the silver trim as well that the final version will have (the HZ27WA had the temporary white trim that i had for review).

also just been given a spec sheet which confirms weight is 8.5Kg (max) for the screen and 10.5Kg max for the package as a whole

dimensions from spec are 654W x 479H x 180D (with stand) and 654W x 461H x 81D (without stand) :)

461H without stand? only 18mm difference? Is that correct?

well spotted! thats what the sheet says but actually the stand is more like an additional 85mm. maybe that should have been 391 H without stand. I'll check with Hazro as maybe an error there!

8.5Kg, is ok, the Ergotron arm can just about handle that.
btw, what was the model no. for the older cathode lighting version?

Top notch, thank you.

I'm also looking at buying the C version now as I've finally let go of the Dell U2711 for the input lag and the Apple... well let's say I don't feel like paying 1200 euros for it (also need an Atlona DP400 converter for my GTX480).

So if I'm correct, the C version does also have a glossy display? And it IS VESA 100x100 wall mountable like the A version?
Looking forward to the review from Baddass. Really really good site. I suggest some high resolution photos as the ones on the site are good but small.

Only the non-scaler versions will improve on the lag over the u2711, so be careful which one you choose. And it's so cheap (both of 'em, matte and glossy) that you can buy a colorimater on top and get everything you wanted in one go :) it's what i plan to do if the factory calibration is lacking. £500 for the A is still smashing Dell in the face.

If Hazro can get suppply sorted, which i doubt for reason i haven't mentioned yet but believe to be accurate, and can get them to all the major e-tailers, Dell will sell about ten 27-inch monitors over the next 12 months, but i don't think Hazro can do it unfortunately.

Just read Badass's review. Thanx for an excellent review as always

Almost perfect but then it springs to eye.

Inputlag 26,3ms oh why oh why. Another potentially great screen made useless to cater for the console gamers

I hate scalers. Useless. Want to play console crap? Do it on your TV
