Yeah cables are in good nick, everything is fine except the speeds lol.

I don't think the bus is underclocked... but it is a realy crap board, so i'll stick to blaming the board.

Don't think so, looks like something is bottlenecking upto the 120GB mark.

That's using the onboard RAID on the DS3? I've seen a few similar traces, there seems to be something up with the RAID implementation on that board which limits throughput like that.

Turn the read caching off on the Nvidia RAID controller drivers, that'll get you at least another 20Mb/s
