Ultimately it is about Greyskull and the power sword. Part 2 will be great after the way it ends.So that's why they called it Masters of the Universe, and not He Man. Cause its not He Man really.
Not interested in part 2, the story is dead. They actually killed Adam twic within 5 episodes lmao, how far off the mark do you have to be.Ultimately it is about Greyskull and the power sword. Part 2 will be great after the way it ends.
Then perhaps market it that way. Not say its directly about He Man and have all the promotional material with heman centre stage. And even if the story is about Tela, then they have done an even worse job of alluding to her eventual fate. They've tried to expand on the other characters in the universe and give them more screen time. Not just make it all about Adam and He-Man.
Why do any of you care? It's a Primary school childrens cartoon.
Well its billed as a continuance of the 80s cartoon but for the 40 somethings that grew up watching it.so for adults. Why do any of you care? It's a Primary school childrens cartoon.
A reboot cartoon which looks like that is also coming to Netflix at something.Ive not watched the original, I watched the 2000s reboot so things are a little different for me and I have no idea of the past history in this. I'm on ep2, im getting into the storyline, I like the slight change from magic to tech
I really like it, the graphics are excellent, Im SO glad they did non do a cartoon network style rebook (thundercats roar I haded the look) ive hated most of the reboots taking great properties and making them with poor graphics and storyline.
So what exactly did they add to Teela story? Apart from make her a self entitled, selfish, butch lesbian, who's not very likeable?
Parents in front of her just after hearing their son has died*I don't think they did any of that, and they've not released the conclusion yet. So I can't say for sure. but it looks as though they are leading to her fulfilling her destiny, or at least learning about it.
What they have done so far is give her the "revelation" that all of the people closest to her have been lying to her for her whole life, which sent her to a very dark place, and she then has the opportunity to grow and pull herself out of it. Which I thought was pretty good.
What I don't understand is the people saying its "woke". Maybe I just don't understand what woke means. I thought it meant cramming unnecessary PC moralizing into a story with little or nothing to do with the plot or characters of the story. And like they literally did that at the end of each of the old cartoons. And there's like none of that here. If any thing this story does a lot more, "everything is grey, work out your own moral" which seems like the opposite of woke?
Parents in front of her just after hearing their son has died*
" ohh you lied to be for a very obvious reason, screw the fact you just lost son a champion this is about MEEEEEEEE"
Yea, this could have been done a million different better ways, but nah, let make it about the one main female character turning into an entitled stroppy mood donkey.
Then goes on to "deny all magic" You live on a planet whereit has been explained to you since birth that without it everyone you know including yourself will die if its not balanced and preserved.
Have Adam look like he hasn't ate a royal male in years and make him kinda weird personality that for some reason his dad isnt impressed by any more?..what was that about?
Dont ever rmemeber the King being an Ahole, even the whole " Banishing" his people made absolutely no sense and didnt make the story any different.
Its like someone wrote a description of the original series and ran it through google translate multiple times.
