I know this is random, but I wonder if the use of a duvet would insulate the body and so make the time of death more difficult to establish.

Also, is it my imagination, or does it look like what is left of the poor individual is sitting up.

They would be able to see the sedimentation of the blood as mavity pulls it down to the ground.
