I don't really see the point of spending money headphone stands.
However, this was a present for me, and it is in fact very nice....
Think it's £35 on OCUK. A lot of money still.

That's some serious gear you have there! What speakers are those? Ribbon tweeters are nice if I'm right in the assumption ;)

mug tree beats anything else out there in the bang for your buck, they also look a lot better than a banana holder, etc.

i have the same one as angst and for £4.50 out your local supermarket, i don't see why you would buy anything else. I have a fancy one i got free from massdrop but i've never used it once.

Spend £££s on headphones, hang them on a mug-tree with no support for the headphone band... Riiiight.

Even if you build your own you can get better "bang for buck" and better performance than a mug tree!

Headphones weigh literally nothing so i wouldn't worry about needing lots of support for the headband when hanging it, if they cant support there own weight like that without breaking then i would be worried about the quality and maybe not buy them again.

My two are quite happy on the mug tree, the K702 headband is a flat leather strap and the HD650 has a small notch in the centre of the headband that fits the arm perfectly :D
