Headphone Holder

Impressively massive speakers, with those Microlabs pushing out some decent volume you must have to strap yourself to the desk :D

And Corsair SP2500 Jesus how many speakers do you have ;) Not a bad 7.1 setup though :p Albeit a bit mix and match ;)

Edit: LOL just spotted the speakers on top of the floorstanders :O

I don't have 7.1 setup...only 5.1, with two pairs of floorstanders (one pair is not show in the pics) and one center speakers (and the sub of the Corsair SP2500 lol).

The Edifier 1600T Plus on top of the Diamonds 155 are connect to a bluetooth audio receiver for when I just want to have a little music but not with everything switched on :) I sometimes connect the bluetooth audio receiver to the Corsair as well for the lighter gaming (i.e. playing on my PS VITA).

That's some serious gear you have there! What speakers are those? Ribbon tweeters are nice if I'm right in the assumption ;)

They are the ARX A1b (I think the company re-branded itself and the speakers are now sold as the Chane A1rx-c). The tweeter is of the planar variety and not a ribbon (not pleated, just a plain flat diaphragm).

I bought these on a suggestion from a few people I trust and I have to say they are pretty decent for the money. Bass extension is ok but not great (woofer is only ~5"), rest of the FR is fairly linear. They are pretty picky with placement though (no waveguide, and the planar tweeter isn't great off axis) and do like a bit of power.

If a headband cannot support the weight of the headphones then I would be seriously worried about the build quality of them.

Even a £30 set of HTF600's can support their own weight no issues.

I also have a official sennheiser headphone holder as well as the mug tree, the mug tree only holds my portables (momentum and HD25-1 II). The sennheiser used to hold HD595's but now holds HD558's.

All my other headphones are kept in their boxes.

Judging by the condition of the X1's I bought from you sonny I'm not surprised they didn't get left out :)

They arrived in an As new condition :)

I have two holders

1 which i use when i put my headphones away. The silverstone one. And 1 which i use if I put them down And that is just becuase the trestle that my desk sits on is wider than the Kitchen surface I use as a desk. So on my left had side i have a nice sticking out bit that is perfect for hanging my headphones if I know i'm going to be picking them back up soon.

I'm a bit OCD when it comes to my stuff like that. I have never dropped a mobile phone, never lost one on a night out, etc no matter how drunk I was. I know people who lose one every other month.

I take really good care of anything I buy which is worth a bit of money (£100+). Every phone I've sold on has been in as new condition. Headphones is no different imo, they aren't exactly cheap throw away items.

Crappy weather forced me inside, where I promptly tripped over a crate of Lego. Fifteen minutes later (most of which spent rummaging for matching colours) this stupendously simple design was born:

Excuse the potato pic, terrible phone camera (and equally terrible operator).
