Headphone Holder

here's one i got the technician to make for me at uni. he milled it from aluminium and even managed to get it anodised by shoving it in with a load of other uni stuff that was being done.

Being a keen woodworker i wanted to make a really cool wooden stand, but I tried one of these sennheiser stands and it works great so I don't need to now :(.

I had to import it from a German store as I think its discontinued and I couldn't find any in the UK. Or any decent looking desk mounted holders.

Mine is attached to the monitor stand, its a lenth of steel rod for an upstand & two clear plastic rests for each of the headphones. I've got the AKG velour over the top.
Keeps my self joys away from the kids ! :)

Really cool idea i my try that soon also loving the mini tree on top of the speaker :)

just to throw in, Brainwavz do a couple. there is the henja (spelling?) which is isngle ended and there is a double ended version. for some reason they named them swedish things, but anyway they are pretty reasonably priced and the henja (i know its wrong but whatever) is really rather nice so i assume the double version is too.

I keep mine in their cases. I've got 3 snakes and a 25kg "Irish" Staffy who has little regard for how much my headphones cost and is a forceful so I couldn't leave them around on a stand he will knock them off without a doubt. The snakes sometimes go for a roam and they always make their way over to my technology corner so I have to pack everything away. I'm kind of glad I don't have my ferrets anymore because they will chew through the box and stash my headphones in their den...the thought of that!
