Headphones

Ok look this is what im looking for:

-Closed headphones
-Decent bass
-Fit over ear for comfort (not ones that will hurt your ears after 2 hours)
-Headphones for music, games, movies, everything!
-Max £100! No MORE!

I have also just ordered the NS1000 for 50 notes. Hopefully less ear roasting than my Sony MDR V700s. They must be if they are designed for long use on aeroplanes!

Anyway, some decent closed Sony headphones are being sold soon...

I hope thats being sarcastic. If not then as below - Cannot wear then for more than 30mins without ears cooking

Not really. You think it's down to the headphone alone. My friend has some Senn HD25 which he can wear night and day. Another poster on here has the same phones, but they bake his ears. It's not down to just the phones.

Well, whatever it is they burn MY ears - ill sell them and hopefully get back around £50 which will cover the cost of the NS1000. (bought the Sonys for £75) Then if the NS1000 has this 'hiss' noise or burn my ears then ill sell them too...

I was just a little surprised, but at £50, worth the risk they won't burn your ears. If they do, as you say, can be sold easily enough. :)

I too suffer from the same problem, so that's the reason for my comment. I did say I would get the NS1000's if I were looking solely for music phones. But of course I forgot I get fried ears. :p

tbh once the special price is finished you would be able to sell them on for £60-£70 if you didn't like them so a no brainer in my book.

Sennheiser HD380 Pro's.

Ive had Sennheiser HD 595's and 280 Pro's in the past. Preferred the 280 Pro's for the fact that they were closed. Similar sound imo.

Im looking to get some HD 380 Pro's soon.

Another good choice and also on offer with £50 off at £90 atm.

I'm not sure I would buy them at £130 though as that is just a little too much

Bloody hell, £130! I have seen them at £90 retail. Amazes me how some places charge astronomical amounts for certain phones. Jersey free post site has the SRH440 for £100. I have seen them on another site for £34 less.

Another thing, how does £130 - £50 = £90  :p

The NS1000's are a great price atm, but I assume the 300 Ohms impedance would be less than ideal for an Astro Mix Amp to drive.

So all you guys who bought the ns 1000's any chance of weighing in with opinions of them compared to other phones you have ?
