Heart attack, who to inform?

I missed this thread too.
So sorry to hear about your attack. I hope you get well soon and can then treat yourself to a nice 740i as a reward for not kicking the bucket.

Get well soon mate.

Never really spoken to you, but always found you to be one of the best posters on this site. Wish you a quick return to health.

Hope you have a fast recovery mate. Good to see you are posting on OcUk!

Kick driving into touch for now and concentrate on getting well again.

Don't know how I missed this thread first time round - I don't have anything productive to add (by means of answering any of your questions) but would like to wish you all the best and have a speedy recovery dude. :)

Another one that missed it first time around! Glad you're on the mend. Hope the health improves further. Best of luck.

Ended back up in coronary care myself Dec 16th. Another blinkin heart attack, making that my 3rd. Only in for 5 days while they sorted the angiogram and other tests. I'd forgotten just how busy and scary coronary care unit can be. They worked on the chap one bay down from me no-stop all night. Quite humbling and frightening to see the docs and nurses do their stuff.

Missed this with my somewhat sporadic presence these days. Really sorry to hear about this mate, glad you are on the mend and hope everything works out for you.

Wow!
Surprised to see this thread pop back up.

I'm fine, njever fitter in fact! - I have my HGV license back, after a long period of it being suspended, the heart issues were caused by previously undiagnosed sleep apnoea - stopping breathing during sleep - which they (Dr's) think I'd had for decades!

I went back to work (still with Stobart who were great whilst I was off) about a month ago

I was lucky, I walked out of the coronary unit, many didn't.

Same here, some very, very poorly people in during my stay. Families being bought in during the early hours because things were touch and go. Heart breaking to see and hear.

I'm lucky again! Only a small one, treated, quickly. So here to tell the tale. These things knock hell out of the family. Its sometimes harder to witness these things than endure them.
