We been playing Destiny 2, Fortnite and Helldivers lately but crossplay games are high on the list for me now. Lots seem to have PS5's.

What GPU do you have. Try turning the graphics down 1 setting. Are your drivers up to date.

Just happened again. 5800X3D and 3080FE. drivers are upto date. Will try lowering the settings.

Is it just me or is this stratagem mostly useful for hitting everything but what you was hoping it would take out whilst frequently taking out any hell divers nearby?

I reckon the meta for helldive difficulty would be a few of these. There's so much going on you need to carpet bomb the game and hope the team make it out as a secondary.
I had my first go on a suicide mission last night. I was queueing with Random's and a level 50 joined and we ran a few games together. It wasn't until he explained that you dont always get the strategem you call in on suicide mission that I realised I wasnt going nuts. (called in a sentry and down came a laser which then took out my other sentry!)

Loool with mechs can be even more brutal this game... Definitely a nice addition

Looks like I need to play a bit more to get a more useful stratagem like that orbital laser, the big bomb one or the orbital rail gun.
For now I just tend to take two of the weapon emplacements (gatling and mortar), the laser guard dog thing and either the machine gun or disposable rocket launcher on missions.

I currently take the dog laser, mortor, grenade launcher and I just got the eagle 500K
I'm sure the automatons hack you on lower levels too so you start throwing random stuff

Picked it up earlier and have to say it runs pretty damn well on my ageing vega64…..been a while since I played a game that made me want to upgrade to get all the pretties but I have a feeling this game may be one of them.
Seems fun with an element of chaos thrown in which works really well to insert some ‘stress’ - stops it being a run and gun done to death shooter.
Just soloing for now till I know what I’m doing properly then may look for some games if anyone is about later in the week.

Go to the console, set your skill level to trivial/easy and hit "R" for a random group. At that skill level you'll be matched with other new people to the game 99% of the time and you can learn together - much faster leveling as a result as you can clear the map in no time.
Dont' worry about learning it, plenty of level 30+ are still making silly mistakes, it happens.
