cpu temp 23
sys temp 44

is that normal? the sys temp was rising by 1 every 30 seconds or so (it was on 38)

Temps seem normal, CPU temperature seems a little low, mind you with that heatsink on it would be :D .

zalman

Is it not perhaps the zalman fan controller beeping? I have a Coolermaster cool drive 4, and one of the fan is set low. this triggers a continous alarm until you actually acknowledge the alarm by selecting the fan, then pressing the big silver knob.

See if there is something similar on yours - just a suggestion as everything else seems to have been suggested/tried/checked already.

I disconnected the Zalman fan controller and now there is no beeps! :) I think it might have been as you said, it triggered a alarm so I will set everything up and then re connect the Zalman and work it out later.. ;)

Cheers

I think it might be. fan 1, 2 and 3 are all reporting but i have nothing connected to fan 4. when I use the wheel and turn and adjust any of em the beeping stops. but afterwards it comes back on. I selected fan 4 and pressed the silver button but it didnt shut the beeping up...

thanks it was!

swede this might help u..

When you have everything in place, the unit immediately lights up and allows you to change the speed of the attached fans. If you don’t have a fan on a certain channel or if the fan isn’t turning/working then the unit will start beeping at you loudly until you sort the problem out, or disable that channel by pressing ‘mode’ until the right channel is selected and pressing in the jog wheel.

it worked for me.
