if you dont find a home for the last one by the time we come to pick up we can take it.

but if someone comes along let them have.

Don't forget that my friend will take a boy kitten too (she is desperate for a cat now she has her house) and I voucher for her 100% (she is one of the people who I have got most of the kitteh info off;))

You've got to keep one. After what you have done it would be such a shame not to see it grow up and be one of the family. :)
 
Dilemma time :( :( :(

Hey guys,

Okay another update...

Basically I went to the vets with good and bad news... Firstly all Kittens are very healthy then vet basically said he wouldn't have known they were from a feral mother as they are very tame and the perfect weight.

Peanut's eye is only a minor infection and we got it early which is being treated. He also wormed the kittens as well all four of them which was great... bloody vets are not cheap though... its okay though I have a spare kidney :)

Okay bad news, more like a dilemma... I'm in the process of getting the mother spayed... If she is preggers and I'm sure that she is I have the choice of aborting them or just getting her spayed... I can't afford to keep them I don't think its breaking my heart thinking about ending possibly 4 lives before they have had the chance to live but its seriously taking a lot of time and money to do this...

So do I abort them or leave them the way it is... and try my best to keep them and strain home life... I know that a lot of you might think that it doesn't cost a lot of money but it soon adds up after around 10 weeks of looking after them... really upset even about considering it.

On the plus side I think that they are doing to be ready next week for going out to their perspective home, the vet said that they look about ready so I'm all good with that....

OOOOOW knew that there was something else to tell you... they are all boys!!! I couldn't believe it until the vet showed me... actually he told me to 'press here' and 2 little testicles said hello... we have decided to call him small balls ;)

I have a few more vids mostly for TrixiBuG as she wanted some of Peanut (his eye is looking great now) he was tired after the vets (well most of them were) and I sat down and three of them came to me, two of them fell sleep... small balls and Peanut:




Can't stop thinking about the whole situation :(

unfortunatly mate, id get them aborted. as harsh as you might think it is, its not fair bringing them into the world when you have no way to keep them, or your struggling for places for them to go, then thats even worse. they wont know anything about it, so get rid.

Hmmm.... I don't know... its not like I have tried hard to get rid of these ones to be honest... :(

i personally would keep and raise them.

you have already bought toys trays bowls etc so your costs would be food and litter and then vet bills at the end.


not a nice decision to make, hope you make the right one. you've done a great job with these.

let us know a date we can come pick one up too!

Nah its alright mate, I fancy a run out so will come to you... will talk to the misses tonight and get a date... whats better for you as we both don't work weekends :)

I'd be worried about mums health going through another pregnancy/raising kittens again so close together, and also about the health of the kitten as a result of that.

Harsh I know, and easier to write than go ahead and do :(
