Help me cook a good curry?

If the other thread was polluted, what made you think this one wouldn't be? And my post being useless doesn't stop your thread being useless.

Well, like you say :
A man can dream I suppose. Maybe one day.....
?
Edit: Plus for a beginner like you, you should be able to find everything you need about making a basic curry in that thread, or the Johnny69 thread. Hell, if you're such a beginner, the first google result for curry should do the trick. Basic currys are damn easy to make.

Already answered this look at post #9 http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11975656&postcount=9

Strangely enough I don't see your point, seeing as what you've just said makes no sense.

Hmm okay im going to try to explain myself more simply :)

I already read that thread, but this is ocuk so posts are flowed with useless posts(like yours) so the information is kinda polluted

See that's what i said, to show an exemple i stated my own shiny thread!
18 posts in it at the time with 9 being more or less totaly off topic. Understand?

You do realise what you are typing makes no grammatical sense in the English language right? That's why you are typing nonsense. And don't try to make out that what you typed before was "complicated" and you are simplifying it. It was convoluted and all you are doing is changing it so it actually makes any sense. And you didn't start this thread to illustrate some kind of point that threads have off-topic posts in them, pipe down.

Curried Duck
Ingredients
2-3 tbsps thai green curry paste
600g duck breast sliced thinly
1 large onion sliced
1 tbsp tomato puree
400ml coconut milk
1 tbsp fish sauce
2 tbsps lime juice
2 tbsps brown sugar
200g cherry tomatoes
500g choy sum chopped, use pak/boc choy instead.

Method
Heat a wok over a high heat then stir fry the duck and onion in batches until the duck is browned and cooked through.
Remove the duck from the pan.
In the same wok stir fry the curry paste until just fragrant.
Return the duck to the wok with the tomato puree coconut milk fish sauce lime juice and sugar.
Stir until the sauce boils.
Add the tomatoes and choy sum and cook stirring until the choy sum is just wilted.

Here's my recipe :) http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17798333

easy chicken curry. this is my batchelor quick curry when I am in a rush.

rice:
This bits simple. just make some rice :) can play with egg frying and stuff if you so choose.

curry:
pataks jalfrazi stuff in a jar
tinned chopped tomatos with herbs ( i get small tins)
chicken breast

cut up the chicken
chuck the chicken in a pan, little oil. brown it off.
throw in the chopped tomatos
throw in a tablespoon of the pataks stuff (quite strong)
simmer for 20mins

could always throw in onions, mushrooms, whatever you have lying around.

easy curry, little to clean up. easy. and quite tasty.

ok sorry im a clueless non brit that doesn't know how to speak your language.
Think im going to stop arguing with you seeing as it is pointless.
I suggest that you turn on your brain and get out of my thread ! :D

Thanks for the sane people for their advices!

ps: Sorry for my "grammaticaly" bad english

Slighty modified how? :)

I use Passata instead of tinned tomatoes, and use pepper onions and potatoes instead of any meat.

And the spices I use are turmeric, cumin, garam masala, chilli powder and black pepper. Also put a bit of lemon juice in the paste and a bit of turmeric in the rice.

Make it in the same way though.

yes johnny's curry looks yummy :p

Cool, I'll give that a go myself :) Haven't actually made a curry in ages.

www.123curry.co.uk do a lot of good curry kits which come with instructions - taste very good indeed :D

Dont judge them by the website btw, its a pant's website but their curry kits are top notch.

i have a noob question! :p
So i went thru the list of ingredients for the famous Jonny's Curry and noticed it's for 4 portions.

Thing is we will be 2 to eat, so here goes my noob question, i always wondered can i just divide by two all the ingredients and that's enough for 2 or some ingredients need more or less for taste or something?
