Help me cook a good curry?

A tikka masala was too hot?

Jeez

when i mean too hot, i mean barely eatable...
I like spicy food and i can eat hot stuff trust me
i simply messed up the recipe and used too much HOT paprika and i put too much ginger as well
 
Ive given up on curry recipes tbh, i find the Pattaks curry paste based curries miles better. Ive been following the recipes exactly as well :(.
 
I use Rajahm Tandorai Masala, can be had from ASDA.

Add this to some cream/yoghurt and add some chicken strips, leave it in the fridge for a few hours preferably over night.

Wrap the chicken in tin foil and place in the oven for a few hours.

Use the left over sauce and add a tin of chopped tomatoes and add whatever indian good smelling spices there is in the cupboard.

Fry vegetables with some cumin seeds in a separate pan and add to sauce. Add chicken, heat for a wee while.

One awesome tasting curry! The chicken cooked that way is just awesome!
