If I'm cruising on the Motorway with my armrest in the way why would I find myself about to have a full throttle rolling dragrace with a Toyota Auris?

And when I do, I'll be sure to shout 'curses, if only i had an argicultural diesel 4 banger under the bonnet instead of this damn petrol six, I'd not have needed to change gear to despatch this most worthy of challengers'.

well it would be better than a rover (jokin) not all Rovers are bad. but it if worth the money my mates got one and its fast and not that bad on petrol about 28mpg for a 2.3 and its nice and relaxing

The 130 TDi is also pretty competent too and they're really nicely specced. My old one was a 1999 110 TDI SE, perfectly capable and economical

if you want something for economy then get a derv like a GT TDI but if your not bothered you could get something like the Golf V5 or Toledo or even get a nice Accord type R

Lol, nearly had a Bora V6 4Mo for £1k the other day from a guy I knew, needed rid asap but I didn't have any money unfortunately. Stupid student life lol. Love the sound of the V5 with an exhaust :)

Thankyou for the replies everyone. Sorry to say but the toledo doesnt do it for me :(

Im open to suggestions of other motors but im more after a hatch. Any diesel BMW's worth taking a look at for £7k?

320d isnt bad either, could get a slightly newer one for the same money. You could get a 330Cd but good luck finding one, plus would be more money

Edit - saying that, cant see any older than 04, did they not come out until then?
