320d isnt bad either, could get a slightly newer one for the same money. You could get a 330Cd but good luck finding one, plus would be more money

Edit - saying that, cant see any older than 04, did they not come out until then?

That 330 is pretty nice, Quite like the look of some of those BMW's.

The 320d is great. I hear they almost never ingest pieces of turbo into the engine.

According to parkers it depends whether its a "T FSI" or "TFSI" (i'm sure theres a difference) - 38 for the former, 42 for the latter apparently. Entirely depends how you drive it though.

The VAG diesels seem to be pretty good at returning good MPG when hammered, dont know how much of a drop youd see with the petrol
