Hi all , erm well the problem im having is ill be playing a game then all of a sudden the computer will just turn off , IE power down , now the heat from the PSU is insane , and im guessing this is due to over heating , am i right in guessing its the PSU and not anything else? , IE CPU , Graphics Card?.
Help please!.

could be what you got in the box mate watage of psu what card ect then someone can help a bit better cheers
If can list specs and PSU wattage and make like rick fowler mentioned would be a grate help.
Couple of things to check though, is the PSU fan running, you can test the psu by linking pins 13 & 14 on the main ATX connector but I would do this with only a fan connected.

Erm the PSU is 600W thats all i know , not sure of the make unless i take out the mother board to check , really hate this case need a new one.
and as i say it only seems to do it when the computer is under major load , like when im playing AOC with max settings.

Most likely. PSU specs are normally printed on side which can be easily viewed by taking case side off...
Most important rating is +12V rail. What's yours?

how old is your psu as over time they don't work as well and considering it's a cheap make of psu it might be your psu
do you have anything else in your system like pci cards and how may drives (hard drive's and cd/dvd/blu-ray) do you have and also how many usb devices do you have on your pc? as they all use power from your psu
i've been running the system in my sig on a ocz 600W for about 18 months now with no problem and thats with 2 graphics cards, 4 sata hard drives, 1 dvd-rw, 6 case fans and 10 usb devices and haven't had a single problem
a good psu is always a good idea, my mate always buy's cheap psu's and has had so many problems over the years

Yup, PSU is not up-to-it. If you check, most reputable brand units even their 400W manage better than that especially on +12V rail.
I'd upgrade PSU ASAP because cheap ones have been known to fail dramatically & even taking other components out with it

ive had the PSU for 2 months so cant be good , i checked my temps as regarding the motherboard and cpu and GPU
Motherboard = 49c
CPU = 57c
GPU = 55c idle......
I think the MB and CPU temps are kinda high not sure what else todo about them ...
i was looking at this PSU is it a good buy:

OCZ ModXStream range gets good reviews & is certainly better than what you currently have.
CPU temp does seem high. I suspect your cooler might not be up to the task. See, the 6400+ is quite a demanding chip. Might want to get a better (upright) cooler like this

That card will fit in easily to that case. And that PSU should be fine as well.

Depending on cooler, this could be partly due to auto VCore being too high, but I suspect a better cooler is needed as well to really bring temps down.

+1 to that, my mate's had 3 cheap psu's die on him and the last one killed board and chip
also have to agree your temps are a little on the high side a new cooler would also be a good idea, also check if there is a dust build up in the heatsink on the cpu as that will cause the chip to overheat as well and might not need a new cooler, unless you plan on overclocking
