Core Temp:

+1 to that, my mate's had 3 cheap psu's die on him and the last one killed board and chip

also have to agree your temps are a little on the high side a new cooler would also be a good idea, also check if there is a dust build up in the heatsink on the cpu as that will cause the chip to overheat as well and might not need a new cooler, unless you plan on overclocking:cool:

I guess i could always put my Stock cooler back on , at least thats made for it and been tested.. so should be ok.

CPUID HW i see that one of the temps is 79'c do you know what it is as i haven't used that program before, your core temp readings are not at all bad for a 3.2Ghz x2 i had my old x2 6000+ running at the same speed and was around the same temp so i would say it's possably not that but they are not 100% load temps, could you post a pic of a 100% load reading

the ocz psu above should do you just fine, can't remember if i said above but i've got a 600W ocz gameXsteam firstly running my 6000+ x2 and 8800gt sli and at the mo running my current set-up and it's about 18 months / 2 years old now and still going strong

also silly question but you do have a surge protector on your pc don't you, i ask because a mate of mine who's been into pc's for years and has only just got round to buying one :)

Na dont have a surge protector >.< i guess is should have really , well ill buy the new PSU and wait and see how i get on then , if the computer starts to switch off again then ill look into new case , CPU cooler , new GPU etc...

yes defo get a surge protector, as for your gpu my idle temps are 45 for one and 38 for the other but i'm running gt's in sli and a custom cooling setup with about 10 fans, and yes it doe's sound like it's hovering but it's in a vented box with lid so can make quite when watching a film or 5.1 headset for gaming so noise not really a problem lol

grab a program called occt link there are loads of tests in the new one one of them is a psu test, it loads the system to 100% and also has tests that test and log temps of cpu and gpu

run a few of them and post the logs here so we can check out if there's anything wrong

ok thanks Raz ill do that now.

Ok heres the results , not sure what pics u want , so ill post a lot of them
also if your wondering why the Power Supply results arnt here , its because it got to 30 seconds into the test and the computer turned off , so it does look like the PSU is beyond rubish.

Hope the Image results help on anything else tho.

well at least you know for sure now, i see from the above your temps are quite high as well, the max safe temp for amd 125w cpu's is 63'c spec sheet so i would think about a new cooler as well i've got this clicky but have a good look at how if it will fit on your board because it is a bit of a beast

as for your gpu temp there's a post here clicky 2 that say's your fine but i would say possably a little high for a stock clock's card, maybe check for dust and look at your case airflow

anyway let us know how you get on

Ok thanks Raz , ill get the new PSU on friday , and im gonna give the case a good clean out and re tidy all the wires , ill even change back over to the stock cooler and see how i get on , ill keep u updated :) thanks again to all^^
