just got my new system titan spinosaur and it wont start turn it on and then after a while it goes click turns off and trys to restart. started once and said oc failed press f1 got into bios and click gone again please help

I wouldnt suggest playing with it to much but waiting until you can ring customer support and see what they can do.

you may lose the ocuk bios profile for the overclock

listen to stulid mate, unless OcUK give you the ok to start troubleshooting you could end up voiding your warranty. i know its a pain but get an early night and get up in the morning and ring them first thing and take it from there

Wait until tomorrow morning and give them a ring. Wouldn't risk voiding warranty or losing the overclocked profile.

It may sound stupid but its worth going over all the cables and checking them.

got it up and running by clearing cmos aparently a board fault that is fixed with asus p8p67 pro to P8P67-PRO-ASUS-1053 beta bios

so you have now lost the overclock, and possibly the warranty on this.

if you read the small print of a ocuk bundle- http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-063-OE&groupid=43&catid=339&subcat=1802

Updating the BIOS on the overclocked bundle range will void the warranty on the overclock. If you update the BIOS we will no longer be able to provide support for configuring and maintaining the CPU overclock.

Kind of silly move. Its not just the overclock included in that warranty is it? If anything else goes wrong you've got nothing else to fall back on. Just no helping some people.

Assuming you still have their profile how would ocuk know the cmos was reset anyway? If on the other hand you've lost the profile and ovetclocked it yourself...ask yourself why was the original overclock unstable and hope its not a hardware fault.

Also the bios version shown on boot would be a give away, and arent the systems stress tested for X amount of hours, so that would rule out the bios being at fault, as you say it "clicks off" almost instantly.
