Take some pics of the inside of the pc
In the first picture of the CPU socket pins 2nd row down from the top , 7th pin in from the right there something shiny or a different colour than the rest can you look at it closer I can't quite tell what it is.OK, pics of setup and motherboard.. is that a bent pin top right?

Just discovering how hard it is to take clear pictures of pins!In the first picture of the CPU socket pins 2nd row down from the top , 7th pin in from the right there something shiny or a different colour than the rest can you look at it closer I can't quite tell what it is.
Does it look like the rest.
No, they're always sort of angled, but the one mickyflinn mentions does look like an issue. I'd need to confirm that with looking at a pic of the socket on another board. Are the pins supposed to be stood up straight? It looks to me like they are all angled towards the centre of the board itself
It does look bent back in you most recent pictures, you can try the bend it forward and align it to the rest using a couple of pins or needles. Loads of videos on YouTube on bent pins.Just discovering how hard it is to take clear pictures of pins!
I've uploaded the best shots I can get, it looks messed up to me

OK, no idea wtf I did or why, but it's now booting and i can see on the display, RGBs on fabs are also working, however PSU fan stopped spinning after 20 seconds.
Only got one stick of RAM in though, the ie that isn't in seems to have a bit of a gap where it should join at the top.
The boot screen is saying
Press <DEL> to enter setup.
New CPU installed, fTPM/PVP NV corrupted or fTPM/PSP NV structure changed.
Press Y to reset fTPM, if you have BitLocker or encryption enabled, the system will not boot without a recovery key.
Press N to keep previous fTPM record and continue system boot, fTPM will NOT enable in a new CPU, you can swap. Ack to the old CPU to recover TPM related keys and data.
What do I do ?
Ah thank you.The PSU fan will spin down after initial boot until needed/under load.
You want to press DEL to enter setup, your Windows loaded USB stick will do most of the work for you.
It might have been a RAM issue, remember that boot (memory training) can take a long time as I mentioned previously, that's going to happen again if you try adding the second stick to see if it really was the issue.
It could be that you fixed the pin issue, or even that something wasn't connected properly that you've fixed without realising while taking things apart and putting them back together.
I'm actually wondering if you've been sent a pre-owned motherboard, was the box fully sealed etc when you got it?
Ah thank you.
Have tried pressing delete.. nothing is happening, keyboard is lit up, but pressing delete does nothing.
No idea re preowned, it was from an online store and purchased as brand new, but it had no shrinkwrap and no sticker seal/tape ..hmmm
New build the message is a standard bios message on first boot so you need to press yOK, no idea wtf I did or why, but it's now booting and i can see on the display, RGBs on fabs are also working, however PSU fan stopped spinning after 20 seconds.
