Doesn't make any differance. Since F@H only uses idle CPU cycles, as soon as any application (including games) needs CPU time, it grabs it on demand. The F@H services are run as the lowest priority.
Since installing two instances of F@H on my rig (see sig) i've had no performance issues at all. Not even when playing F.E.A.R. which is quite CPU intensive.
However, if you are worried, you can allways Pasue the services whilst playing.
No excuses.. get folding!!

What is it doing? Is it saying it can't connect to the server?

As far as I can see we've had 9 new members submit work since this thread was started - great work everyone so far 
the problem is that the russians have also had 9 new members in the last week
they have almost 3 times the number of active members as us currently, 110 vs 302

looks like we'll be getting a big 'ol bear stomp within a week unless we can pull something spectacular out of the bag
so come on - who wants to have a go at it? Even if only as a 1 week trial?
