True size wise. Having said that it is marketed and seen as a "family" based car and I imagine is quite a bit taller (?). Everyone seems to bash "corsa/fiesta" etc whenever a new driver shows interest. If you want to change go for it, I'd recommend a clio. You can mock the youth for going for corsas etc. but most people back in there day were similar, or are similar in the old age wanting similar cars to their peers.

As G-Man said, he just doesnt want an MPV. I'm not one for image consideration when buying a car, but even I'd hate to be seen in a Meriva

Height I understand, it makes it look like an MPV so backs up my previous assumption. But not as long.....WHY?

Seriously, stop being obsessed with it being large. Yes, it's taller than a typical small car, but it isn't LONGER.

I asked for help on a new car, that isnt as big, not outlining it was the size of a tank, just wanting something smaller, my choice

With a Fiesta you tend to get less for your money compared to buying a Focus, so why pay more for less?

because of lack of parking at college there is no room, the turning circle on the meriva is awful so you cant get into the biggest of spaces

So, you want something shorter than the Meriva. Pretty much leaves you with the c1, aygo, g-wiz...

Mmmmm nice.

Or have you been completely ignoring the quoted lengths in mm? The Meriva is (as far as your perception will be aware from being sat inside it) the same length as a corsa, fiesta, etc etc. Really not sure what you want :/
