seen some old lady in town struggling with her asda bags so i offered to carry them home (thinking it would be 100 meter job) but no it was more like a mile

she even offered me 2 pound coin as a reward but i declined

anyone done this and been offered a tip? have i discovered a serious moneymaking market?

lol did this kinda thing few years back and was almost late for a GCSE

was on bus and this old man had a mini fridge and was strugling so i offered to help was a long walk and he tried to pay me for helping him but refused so you might have a money making idea there :p

old people don't like computers

Some old people do. I know a chap in his 70s who uses bit torrent :p. Don't ask what he downloads, you don't want to know.

lmao,

I know I was generalising, our IT teacher must have been in his late 60s/70s.

Helping out the elderly is surprisingly satisfying. Even giving up a seat on the bus makes both parties feel good, so try to do it as much as possible.

Yeah helped a few grannys carry their bags a few times, helped one park her car before too. I was sat in the beer garden having a quiet one and she was there for ages trying to back this jag in but couldn't quite do it, he he "thankyou young man it's my husbands car, i'm not very good at driving it"
She got a nicely parked car, I got to drive a jag, everones a winner.

Ahh, gotta love old people :)

92 year old lady next door used to pay me £5 when I was in secondary school to get her shopping for her, asda is only a 10/15 min walk away so it didn't take long.

i always get tips at work, i work at a garden centre and the old grannies think its fantastic that i carry compost to their car for them :p, most i've got after carrying about 3 bags of compost was £2.50 - made my day :D

i always say "are you sure?", but they are usually pretty insistent :p

The elderly are very free with their money and seem to give it away as if it is burning a hole in their pocket. Begs the question that do the elderly get too high a pension. Probably not for the 65 year olds but nearer and past 70 I am sure they could happily get by with less with no effect to their lives other than less generous tipping.
