WTF is wrong with this government, it already costs me £47 to fill my tank.. i'm getting an extra 4p shoved on top a £, which is a good £3 extra a tank than when it was £1 a litre bang on..

Why the need to shove it up another 2p when its already at 104?

Wont be long till its £50 a tank :(

Cost me over £45 to fill my Punto, yes a 98 Punto, the other weekend, And I used a lot of it up as safety car for the air cadets to do a weekends hiking. Then the rest of it taking my stuff to uni for semester 2.

I'm going to have to move on to uniformed staff if this continues, then I can claim back fuel costs from Wing HQ.

You try spending £50 on a tank that will only last you 250-300 miles on a student budget!

no way - almost the exact same here mate... i have a 99' Mk1 Punto (bet you've had a trip of 2 to the garage with it? ;) )....

pretty much 45 quid the other day.... i was like - errr?? come again?

The Government and Country is in so much debt that they will never back down on this.

My speculation of petrol costing £1.10 a litre by April I made last August doesn't look that far wrong.

Its been 1.10p a while ere for v-power, think last week it went to 1.12ish!

Either way the gov need the money since they seem insistent on chucking it down a black hole.

It is becoming rather annoying now. £1.20 isn't that far off, likely by mid year if things keep going the way they are.

I've been told the transport minister is visiting us in work today, maybe I can persuade him/her to do us all a favour :p

It was bought for £80 as a non runner, spent £50 on a matching set of ECU's and red key for it, and it's been fine since, not a hint of a problem.

The only reason it's been off the road lately is my brother pranged it.

I expect the HG will F at some point but I can fix that cheap.

So long as you keep them in good oil and water, these things keep on moterin.

Fuel is €1.20 here which is a price I havent seen for about a year. I saw it as high as €1.30 on a recent trip to Cork. Costs me €75-80 to fill my car, which I'll usually have gone within a week.

The government are just a bunch of money grabbing gits, I thought this was well established by now. They know there's no alternative to cars, hence they are just milking their cash cow while the greenies stand by and cheer and claim it's for the good of the enviroment, which is, of course, a load of dingos kidneys, then get in their 2cv's and beetles with horrific emmisions and smog off into the distance...

Punch him in the face, and tell him he has no idea what he is doing and he should go back to being a brain dead councillor deciding whether to repaint the swings or install a seesaw.
