Heroes of the Storm

Had a game as a Kael'Thas last night. He is an awesome lane pusher and has come great damage potential as well. Only tried Pyroblast as it was too tempting not to take and as far as ulti's go it is OK at best, to slow and too easily out ranged.

yeah i think i will avoid QM unless i have an almost full team! Luckily most of the lads at work are getting into this so we usually have 4/5 anyway

Sitting with 15k gold and not sure what hero/s to buy. I know we will need someone to learn brightwing to be effective so i might just take the plunge on her.

I quite enjoyed them and won all QM games with them as the xp you earn is insane.

I did 2 in one lane and one in another while trying get the rest of the team push one lane.

Managing 2 lanes is much easier, would he nice if you could group them then press a key to instantly jump to them and select them.

I played a game with some chap who failed every single one of his TLV Ultimate attempts.

Casts boat in middle of team fight, ontop of the enemy, insta dies.
Casts boat in middle of team fight, ontop of the enemy, insta dCCed, dies.
Casts boat in middle of team fight, ontop of the enemy, insta dies.
Casts boat in middle of team fight, ontop of the enemy, insta dies.

Again and again.


Also getting sick of Illidan wannabes, he is a hard hero to play well but doing less Hero damage than Brightwing....please.
 
I'm playing TLV to get him to 5 for the gold but I really don't like the hero. He hasn't got the damage output to make up for the squishiness of his component parts. I'm probably playing him wrong though I don't mind admitting :p
 
I have been splatted by TLV many a time. Id say they have decent damage but is more a case of learning how to play them well etc.
 
I really do enjoy the game but I spent the 6 games or so I played last night being pretty ticked off. Quick match seriously needs some work in regards to team compositions and how it constructs them. Had a whole evening of being given absolute liquorice allsort team compositions facing off against heavy engage teams where we had zero warriors, engage or CC meaning it was nigh on impossible to lock down any kills without people just jogging off into their team deathball and therefore we couldn't win objectives/games.

This didn't seem to really be a problem when levelling up to 40 as I found with Valla/Jaina I could pretty much dominate people without a clue thanks to somewhat above average map awareness from playing LoL and snowball from there. Now I've been 40 for a week or so and gone on a massive winning streak it seems the game is placing me with competant opponents and it's becoming clear that team comp plays a large part in being able to successfully carve out an advantage.

I suppose the solution to this is to get 4 friends involved and then have full control over all the variables. Maybe the game just needs some time to mature and for people to level up expand their champion pools so the matchmaking can put together better matchups.

Yeah queuing with randoms is not something i enjoy.

Enjoy playing with work friends though, even if some are still learning the basics of a moba.

Also with regards to matchmaking the worst is when you don't get a healer but the opposition does. Thankfully release patch is fixing this and either both side will have one or neither side has one.
 
It all depends what time I get on mate. If you play late, like 1030ish or after I will be about. That's when most the work lot log off for bed.

I'm not convinced it will fully solve the issue though. Compare a healing machine like Malfurion with someone like Tassadar who can only throw a shield here and there.
