hi

would be good if you had another gpu to test with, ive seen issues where the switch blows that auto detects when a gpu is installed, and an rma is needed

have you tried the 570 though? you only need to test it for a few minutes

its either a bios compatibility issue or mb fault

best to rma the board and take it from there

EDIT: what tv? and tried with a monitor? some TV's have a dvi port besides hdmi

If the TV is saying "Not supported" then it means that it is receiving a signal but it just doesn't like it, I would test with another TV or monitor.

It could be due to the weird BIOS screen resolutions they use or maybe the graphics card is faulty and is outputting a gibberish signal.

Hello again ppl I have a update with this system after spending 4 hours with the pc tnite, I took my monitor up to the system to test the tv and surprise the graphics card fires up on my monitor no problem.

So I tried it bk in the system again on the tv and no display, but I have noticed that both cards use extra power pci e connectors, but I tried a Geforce gt210 and that card works straight away a display and eveything hmm bizzare.

Sounds more like your TV is at fault or not able to display the resolution output by the graphics card. If the PC and graphics card worked with your monitor, then what's in the machine is ok - including the psu.

But the PC in question does display fine with the Geforce gt210 it does not need extra power from the psu but the other cards i treid do need extra power from the psu, it does not make sense?

Your TV doesn't like the signal being output by that particular GPU, if it was your PSU then why does your monitor work with it?

How is a motherboard going to help? the problem seems to be between the graphics card and the TV. Your best bet would be try to find a graphics card that works with your TV? or upgrade your TV? :p
