Hit & Run!

Poor guy never saw what hit him, had no hope, she was in some hurry to get to work... I hope they through the book at her.

unbelievable, you see a lot of bad driving but that's just ridiculous, and then to hit someone and deny it.

Scum will be scum, this is why we need fantastic teachers on high salaries, because parents like this sure as hell aren't going to do the job, and without a decent education system where else are her kids going to get any chance to be bought up correctly.

Hurfdurf for president...wait, what?

I've just seen her punishment :(

she got away lightly with a 2 year suspended, 200 hours community service, 2 year ban and had to pay the victim £500 compensation" These light sentences really **** me off.....a 2 year ban for an offense that could have easily killed someone? Even when she drove off and completely denied everything? What a joke.

That's nothing, my dad got 9 points and £600 fine for driving through broken temporary traffic lights. Why do worse crimes always get less punishments, I've noticed this on those police camera action programmes :(

Just LoL at the sentence she got seems you can do what ever crime and do no time and get a slap in the wrist in this country.

She should have got 10+ years and a 5 year driving ban:mad:

Remember my fine for speeding, 2k or whatever it was i cant even remember myself now, anyway the whole system its a farce.

IIRC, didn't we establish that there was more to this story than you originally (and continually) let on? Was he convicted of Careless Driving or something?

Just think, if these guys had reported her to the police the first time she pulled something stupid, instead of following her trying to catch her doing something else, then she may have been pulled before she ran anyone over.

And said what? "Hello, Police? Someone has just committed a careless maneuver in the road - i take it you'll be sending 3 fully armed units to deal with this...?"

It's very hard to describe to someone over the phone just how dangerous a traffic offence sometimes is, as it can often sound quite "trivial" to someone who wasn't there.

i bet when she was in court she played the 'my children need a mother' card and got let off easily. If that woman hit my dad like that and i seen this sentance i would probly do somthing stupid.

Not a chance. There's barely two minutes between her doing the first notably stupid thing (overtaking the long queue of traffic on the wrong side of the road) to her actually hitting the pedestrian. Unless the police are able to fire traffic cars at offenders from space, there's no way they'd have been able to respond in time.

That woman makes me so angry. She nearly kills an elderly man and her first instinct is to carry on as though nothing has happened! Unbelievable.

Makes me tempted to get a cam. Might have a look later to see what's out there that I can attach to the motorbike.
