Hit & Run!

The lads in the car are legends. Personally i don't think they could have done any better. Major Kudos to them!

As for the woman, i hope she rots in hell.

Must have been a hell of a bang when she hit the poor guy and all comes up with is "What did somebody go underneath?"

Aren't these cameras in most cars in the States? Now that we seem to have adopted their lets sue for anything culture it might be time to bring these cameras in as part of our standard car insurance?

Calling the police wouldn't have acheived anything, following the bitch did, major kudos to the guys.
 
I'm guessing she didn't get a custodial sentence due to having children? 200hours community service is quite big though :D

Probably would have done the kids good to get away from someone so stupid!
 
Feel gutted for the old man. It's going to take him years to even get to a decent shape. My grandad was hit by a girl on a moped and shattered his knee cap and all sorts of other things. He was never the same after and didn't last many years after that. (He worked till he was 78 and was fit as a fiddle on his 90th)

I would have felt sympathy for the woman if she stopped after it happened because lets face it people do risk things when late etc but the fact she carried on and openly denied it makes me sick. She should have had a lifetime ban at least. Im very suprised she didn't get a jail term. Anyone remember that guy who went to prison because he hit a biker while driving his Integra yet this woman gets nothing for a hit and run?
 
That is whats wrong with the system, the disparity between out comes in these cases.
 
Wow - disgusting. I was genuinely shocked when I watched the video - not often I can say that these days.

Surely she didn't notice hitting him (No idea how, maybe she was doing her make up whilst overtaking)... I just cannot comprehend how anyone can act so calm and collected whilst knowing you just hit someone just minutes before so my only explanation is that she didn't notice somehow.

As i understand CS, she would still have to do her full time job so most likely can only spend ~7 hours a week.
Though saying that thats still only half a years worth!

I do agree, she deserves far more than what she got :mad:
 
I've just re-read what she got...
And it wasn't 200 hrs community service.
It was 2yr suspended, 200 hrs community service.

**** me I'm raging now..
So she got nothing but a 2yr ban and 500 quid fine.
Christ I've had worse than that for "totting up".
I want to go and slap the magistrates round their court now. Aaarggh
 
Completely reckless and total disregard for other peoples saftey let alone her own - shocking, the Fact she said "did someone go under" instantly says it all really.
 
The sentence she received really is terrible, just shows how wrong the legal system is, with that in mind I'm surprised the person who chased after her didn't get points/fine for his actions in catching up with her
 
Suspended community service?! that's ridiculous.

At least she still has a criminal record? or did they see fit to suspend that too and make her a Dame whilst they were at it.
 
Absolutely shocking, major kudos to guys driving although it is a bit odd driving around with a camera!
