Not on there any more but I've reported it to the RSPCA.

I'm suspicious of the video as people have said there has been nothing about the accident in the news (it would at least make local news) but there's nothing to prove it is fake. Still, very shocking behaviour from the lady who was driving.

and actually sell cameras , its hardly a good advert for cameras anyway , not exactly the best images

blocking out the bits of the police call that included name/area/reg plate are hardly suspicious and neither is showing yourself and someone else dangerously driving on the busy public roads

as for not been in the news until the video hit well unless someone reported it then why would it be ? hit and runs are usually only reported when they want help looking for the driver and traffic accidents in london ? not news

Mr Jagdev eventually brings Mrs Hamid to a stop but she repeatedly denies she has hit anyone. Police arrived shortly afterwards, and made an arrest.

Mrs Hamid was found guilty at Isleworth Crown Court last month. She was sentenced to 12 months of prison suspended for two years, 200 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay Mr Sharma, who is still recovering from his injuries, £500 in damages.

She will also be banned from driving for 3 years and will have to take an extended driving test before she is allowed back on the road.

The video was posted on YouTube a few days ago and already has more than 250,000 views.

Same here, absolutely disgusting to not only drive off after hitting the guy but then completely deny it even happening.

Wow. Cross an arbitrary line on a map without the right paper work and get the book thrown at you, take a child's life and meh, slap on the wrist, don't do it again. If I was that kid's parents, I would be livid!

So tempted to get one of those cameras, on the road all day at work, and the amount of stupid people who seem to be trying to kill me/each other, is ridiculous! :mad:
 
I'm fairly sure the kid ran out into the middle of the road and his only crime was not stopping.

Again, what good would a longer custodial sentence do? Send a message so that the next time someone thinks about not stopping because they are panicked out of their minds they will think twice? That's not how panic works I'm afraid.
 
I am flabbergasted. Not so much by the video, as I (unfortunately) am very accustomed to the sheer stupidity and selfishness of people - particularly when driving. I am flabbergasted by the folk who think this could be/claim it is a fake.

As for the woman in the video - she is utterly disgusting. An horrific example of bitter selfishness and recklessness.

And indeed, Southall is a very eye-opening experience to drivers. A number of drivers in Southall don't have a UK driving licence, many only carrying an Indian or neighbouring countries' licence - if they even have one of those.

Is this the one where the kid ran into the road? And if it hadn't been the untaxed & uninsured illegal immigrant that hit him it simply would have been the car behind that hit him instead?

If so, we've had this debate here already!
 
This is why dash cams are a good idea

This has to be seen to be believed, don't know if its been posted before but:

Sickening that she would speed off and deny that it happened at all. Kudos to the guys for helping the guy knocked down, and chasing her down.
