Hitman Absolution Pre-Order.

I stayed up till about half two last night trying to ace that first level, I like that there are a variety of ways to do it, although im still only scoring about 35k,

knock out the guard by the car, set off the car alarm, take out the boss with a headshot, hide his body, go up to where the sniper rifle is, kill the goon and take his uniform, go down and pick up the documents, leave

What can i do to improve on this?

Absolute best way to get most points is strangle them with the fibre wire or whatever it is, you get about 7 boxes pop up with points and one is called 'signature kill'' and don't get recognized or dumping bodies etc to maximize the score

Can someone explain this retarded mechanic:

The new disguise system doesnt let you walk around near people in the same clothes for very long. The justification for this, is that a policeman might for example not recognise you and have never seen you working on the force before. Fair enough.

So i thought, fair enough, disguises are harder this time and you have to think about it a bit more. However, in King of China Town mission the King calls a drug dealer, sounded like he knew him on the phone and then speaks with him face to face. Not two minutes later, you can steal the dealers clothes and then walk right up to the King and lure him into an alley/the dealers den to kill him.

Just......what?

Not playable, too much stuttering and framerate drops into the 30's, SLI enabled or not is making no difference to the framerate.

Using latest nvidia drivers, it's another dodgy port and needs allot of fixing.

Running a pair of GTX660Ti's with i7 [email protected].

turn off global illumination and tess. SSAO on normal shadows normal. detail high textures high MSAA x4.

thats what i play on with a 3gb 580 and same CPU and speed as yours. (with HT off though)

I've tried, it makes no difference at all to the framerate or stuttering which in itself is very strange.

Runing fine here ultra settings on my single 7970

Could be a Nvidia driver prob with this game with SLI enabled maybe?

Same performance when set to single GPU, the SLI profile is doing nothing

It's weird. Tbh I think people spot you a tad too quickly, if you're walking past someone you can't get past them because the meter goes up far to quick, you always have to use instinct :(

I finally managed to get mine working, after trying various things including removing my overclock on both my CPU and GPU, reinstalling drivers about a gazillion times I decided to do the thing I probably should have done in the first place and reinstall the game :)

Detection system is getting on my wick.

Can't pass areas without instinct, so I use it, and it doesn't even work, even when im not facing them/walking away

I had a lot of trouble getting through the library, then I tried it with a disguise and it didn't seem any easier!

I kind of get the feeling I should be 'throwing' things more to cause distractions. Only because I'm forever seeing items..

Yeah I rarely throw stuff... just seems a bit weird if I have to continuously throw stuff to get past areas instead of doing more interesting things

I have a 560ti also. What graphics setting are you running at? Ultra?

Installing tonight :D

Pretty much, depends on what fps you want, I'm at constant 60 with Global Illumination off and MSAA, but with that on and 4x AA it averages around 40 but I'm not on a 1080p monitor

Played through the tutorial bit and crashed as soon as I got through the door that started scoring. Now the game won't even reload what a load of ****
