I really hope it doesn't, Blood Money was great.
Yup great game, I've enjoyed all the console releases, I didn't enjoy the original Hitman though, the jungle levels were a bit pants.
They've already said they are going to be putting in more action segments with a cover system, just don't ask me for a link since it was something I read quite a while ago.
I want this to be a really good game, but the fact that SE is involved has me worried that they will change things that don't need fixing in order for them to appeal to the morons out there who won't buy it anyway even with all the 'improvements' they make. Just give us another Blood Money with new missions and were sorted.
I've been following this game for years hoping it would be made and some of the comments people make are just completely retarded, like putting in Multi-player
Oh good god no, a cover system sounds to me like they will be doing what Margaret says and making it into a Splinter Cell: Conviction type game, I really hope it doesn't turn into some rubbish arcade shooter. All I would want from the new game would be better lip syncing, better scripts for the NPC's, better selection of customisable weapons, better implementation of your hideout in between missions, so for example you go to your hideout after each mission you complete and you can upgrade your guns there, you can alter the colour and style of your suit, maybe multiple choice of missions which then lead to different missions depending on your previous choices. Faction based hits so for example you can choose to work for the Sicilian Mafia or the Triads or Yakuza, doing too many missions for one will annoy the other factions and you won't be able to complete theirs, allowing for multiple playthroughs to make sure you get a chance to play all the missions.
The main thing I think is just to overhaul the control, give the graphics some spit and polish, I haven't seen anything of the Glacier 2 engine but I'll go and look in a second, I've still got high hopes, I just hope with every fibre of my being that they don't make this into some crappy arcadey shooter. I love being able to approach my hit any way I want to, I like being able to plan what I'm going to do based on the information I have about my targets, it makes the game so rewarding when you plan something and then execute it perfectly, they'd ruin all of that if this was just an all guns blazing shooter.
I don't even take a gun with me. I don't want the temptation to unleash the fury!

I take a pistol with me on most levels because it's very handy for knocking people out with, I use them for knockouts more than I use the sedative syringes!

Yeah in House of Cards I just hide it in the DNA briefcase before being frisked, on Amendment XXV I go into the very first bathroom before the metal detectors and I close the door, drop a mine and then open the door, the marine should see it and come over to pick it up, when he does that I simply close the door behind him grab him as a hostage, knock him out and steal his clothes. Then I can walk through the metal detectors with his uniform and it doesn't matter if they go off.
Can't remember any other frisking levels apart from the tutorial one, but I'm sure there are.
House of cards is amazingly easy, I looked at a few videos and cannot understand why no one does it in the under 5 minute way?
Run to the left elevator, climb the hatch, kill. Run to right elevator do the same. Go up to the 8th floor, set off a fire alarm, ring the arab. Snipe and leave. Silent assassin in about 5 minutes.

I've never thought of that.
I usually kill Hendrik Schmutz when he goes to the bathroom, just put one in the back of his head, take his keycard and leave him in the bathroom stall. Then I kill the scientist by hiding in the elevator hatch and strangling, then I go downstairs with the DNA briefcase, give it to the arab, headshot when he's alone, run back upstairs and get the payment briefcase then leave the area. I think that takes about 10 minutes or so.
Just finished it on Professional and now I have to go back and do it on Rookie for the achievement, I wish that they would stack.
Once that's done I think I need to get the Russian Hare rank to unlock the achievement, I need either one or two more SA ratings on Pro and I need to upgrade the M4 and the W2000, collect all the weapons which I'll do on Rookie and I think I'm done.
I'm midway through Pro. Funnily enough I SA'd missions I didn't get on normal. Curtains up, murder of crows and Vineyard but for the life of me no matter what way I try New life I can't get SA. Despite gettign it easily on normal. I either get a witness or body found despite never getting any warning.
I've moved on now as I can get the SA on atleast two others. I'm loving playing this again. I will keep it until the new one as the price for 2nd hand copies will go right up, like with dead space.

I found A New Life to be the easiest for an SA achievement. When you drug the FBI agents are you positive nobody has seen the bodies in the van when you open the doors? It shouldn't be a problem but it's worth making sure, just take your time with the level and you should be able to do it without any problems. Also how are you killing Vinnie? And are you killing his wife or just knocking her out?
Flatline is my favourite one to get SA on though, I love that mission. I still need to get one or two more SA's on Professional and I can't remember which missions I already got it on. As far as I know you can't replay the same mission 5 times to get the achievement it has to be 5 seperate ones so unless there's a way of checking your scores then I'll have to do them all again.

Run back out and pour lighter fluid (found in the shed) on the BBQ.
The wife will catch fire and die.
Retrieve the thing she has and go get your suit.
Profit.

I find it easier to sedate the donuts, steal a suit, then sabotage the satellite TV at the front of the house, the FBI agent will leave the living room and come outside, during that time you can strangle, shoot or poison Vinnie and drag him into the cupboard in the back of the room, it might be slightly quicker than waiting for him to go upstairs. Also I think it was Danny that told me this, instead of rigging the BBQ you can wait inside the indoor pool area and sedate her to take the microfilm, I think rigging the BBQ is quicker because she goes there before she goes to the indoor pool but you have to time it right so the pool boy doesn't see you picking the lock to the shed, all in all you can do it in just about 4 minutes, maybe less.
Do you find that killing him upstairs is quicker? Do you go for rigging the BBQ first or do you kill Vinnie first? I haven't tried your method but I might do to see if it's faster.

There's an awesome method on A new life to kill vinnie. It's hard to do, but involves you throwing a coin in the house so he sees you, chases you outside and having him hit by the limo!
I've tried both methods, mutliple times. In Normal I used the pool method for the wife. Killed her and the sat tv method on vinnie. SA rating. Doesn't work for me on expert.
On expert I've rigged the BBQ, while all the time watching my bar to make sure no one see's me. I've then hid in vinnies room and killed him and dragged him back behind the wall.
I found it a 5 or so minute level on normal, yet for some reason I can't get it done on expert. I will come back to it if I don't get the 5 SA's on expert. I'm sure I will though.
I hope the new one is more like this, polish the controls and make it a little less buggy and it will be perfect. I was a bit 50/50 when this was released and only played it through on rookie. I need the new one now!

I don't get how they can make it appeal to a wider audience without changing how the game plays and that for me is a big NO. The game isn't even that hard, I mean do they need a retard difficulty or something?
