His taking kids on a honeymoon. Creepy
My friend took her children - aged 12 and 3 on her honeymoon. Nothing creepy in that as it was a holiday for the kids too. Friend and husband did have a 4 night stay in Rome alone 6 weeks after the wedding whilst her dad and step mum looked after the kids.

So taking your kids on holiday is creepy now? I presume its just an attempt at banter. Either that or you don't have kids.

This is a honeymoon in name only since we've been together for a very long time, its more like a familymoon. I work 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off so im used to being away from the kids but the missus couldn't cope being away from them for so long. Romantic getaways for us last no longer than 2 nights.

We are going away in August and I badgered my wife to get her passport renewed. It took less than 3 weeks. I still don't see the point in waiting, as it's about £70 for 10 years, so about 58p a month hence no reason to leave it until the last minute. Of course hers was a straightforward renewal, digital pic, no countersign and mostly done online. I think if it's anything out of the ordinary or something goes wrong then you are in trouble.

I should point out that if there has been a name change by any of the parents on the application then you must send in proof of the name change, even if the person who changed their name has alraedy updated their passport, because their antiquated system doesn't allow them to look up the details of their parent's passport.

A colleague at work tried to renew his sons passport in January and he still hasn't go it back. Apparently they may have lost his Spanish one as well.

I renewed my passport March last year as it expired end of March 2021. It took 8 days from sending the online form to getting the new one delivered my courier. Both my parents renewed their passports too then. As had to do them individually, mum had to send off her old passport at Glasgow and me and dad, Liverpool.

Don't understand why the main photo now is black n white. Yet on the page opposite main passport page, there's a colour photo

Got a phone call today from the passport office to go and collect my daughters passports tomorrow in glasgow. Thank goodness! Two months of stressing over, now I can look forward to my holiday next week.
