please explainHis taking kids on a honeymoon. Creepy
My friend took her children - aged 12 and 3 on her honeymoon. Nothing creepy in that as it was a holiday for the kids too. Friend and husband did have a 4 night stay in Rome alone 6 weeks after the wedding whilst her dad and step mum looked after the kids. His taking kids on a honeymoon. Creepy
Just seems an odd way to start a marriage.
I should point out that if there has been a name change by any of the parents on the application then you must send in proof of the name change, even if the person who changed their name has alraedy updated their passport, because their antiquated system doesn't allow them to look up the details of their parent's passport. We are going away in August and I badgered my wife to get her passport renewed. It took less than 3 weeks. I still don't see the point in waiting, as it's about £70 for 10 years, so about 58p a month hence no reason to leave it until the last minute. Of course hers was a straightforward renewal, digital pic, no countersign and mostly done online. I think if it's anything out of the ordinary or something goes wrong then you are in trouble.
Got a phone call today from the passport office to go and collect my daughters passports tomorrow in glasgow. Thank goodness! Two months of stressing over, now I can look forward to my holiday next week.
