Homefront: The Revolution is highly underrated (and now 10 quid incl. DLC)

it was 3.99 with dlc the other day on cdkeys, i had it one xbox one, only played so much of it, was a good game, it felt like playing dishonored 2 which took me a little while to get in to. i was tempted to get the pc version for the low price when i got anno 2205, but i hadnt see anything of late to suggest it had any bugs ironed out.

The bugs have been ironed out.

Just got this. Really enjoying it :)

It plays so smooth, great gameplay!! also enjoying it!

Awesome. Make sure to try out all the weapons and their variants, there are quite a lot. But that marksman variant of battle rifle - sniper, it feels so great to shoot it is ridiculous :D

Couple extra screens taken from main game

And this game was made in the UK. Support your local developers :)

Thanks for making a post about the deal and info about the game, I totally forgot about this game but just bought it and will give it a go tonight.

:D

I completed the first one but didn't buy this due to the bad reviews. Reading this has made me want to try it and for that price on Humble I couldn't resist it.

Loved the first game, and the multiplayer was fantastic IMO. ran smooth as silk on my rig at the time and had zero issues it with it.

The made the mistake of releasing it 1 week before COD came out and all the COD fans gave it bad reviews.... then bought COD and did the same but its ok as it was COD

Pulled the trigger before realizing the CDKeys DLC was not the Freedom Fighter Pack. Oh well my lad can have that one and I'll get the humble bundle one. Happy Days. :p

Cheers for this, picked it up for that bargain price, about 2 hrs in and unlike most single player games I'm not bored. On a side note (first time i used humblebundle) i read some bad reviews about them selling region locked games without stating, anyone experienced this?

Used Humble Bundle now for over two years and not a single issue :D There again I never had issue with G2A or Cdkeys either.

Was on the fence about this but your post/review sold me!

But by Satan's beard it's a big old download...Steam says 4 hours to go for the 60g+ install. By the time it's done the real Koreans will have invaded Trumpland:D

Just been playing this in the last week and I was liking it. Its open world non-linear bit like Far Cry is. You can approach outposts in various ways. ie jumping the wall on your motorbike landing in a middle of a group of enemies and mow them down or use your RC car to sneak in and blow them up.

However 3 hours in and audio stopped working when I used my Corsair Void USB headset. Audio works when using my monitor speakers but thats no good for me at night. Done a very extensive google/steam forum search on the subject and tried numerous things to get this to work but no joy. Also confusion reigns when you have to weedle out the "no audio" issues google shows you about the original. Headset works fine in every other game so its not that. Even re-installed headset drivers and wiped game off my PC and reinstalled (68gb) 3 times now which is a chore. Then logged a support call with the devs/publishers and they were no help either. So I continued on a bit and completed red zone and went to yellow zone and it changes the dynamic of the game as you are hunted at all times which was good initially but soon becomes a chore. So it got uninstalled again.

Shame to hear about your issues. I don't have that headset and didn't have any audio issues, fortunately. In the yellow zone I don't remember being hunted at all times, or I am not sure what you mean. If you do something to alarm KPA, you have to hide and alarm status goes away. I did not really find that a chore, but obviously it is subjective.

As soon as soldiers see you they swarm in and attack. Trying to jump up on some scaffolding to get to a radio which required a very precise jump with soldiers wandering around seeing you as soon as you missed the jump a few times became a chore.
Pity as I did like it. One of my many games I need to try and get through though.
