I actually quite like this. I think it would be good with a group of people.

There are quite a few positives that stuck out for me. In no particular order.

Atmospheric.
Big Levels.
Going Prone (a biggy for me).
No Lag at all.
Like the idea of battlepoints and upgrades.
Something tells me there could be some epic battles.

And there are some negatives. In no order.

Grenade throwing looks a bit spack handed.
Seems quite easy to kill people.
Helicopter does not get affected by trees etc.
Helicopter seems very powerful.
a lot lot of things popping up in the Hud (killstreaks etc), almost right in the way.

I must admit though after seeing that video it has pleased me somewhat.

Hopefully they have incorporated some kind of squad system when you are in a party

Manage to get a game online using the Skirmish option, not bad so far but my bar was on one all the time, so it seems to me that I was getting killed by 1 or 2 bullets and to kill someone I had to pump a full mag into them.. but looking on the homefront forums, skirmish is peer to peer.

Watched a video of the multiplayer, looks a bit generic. I'd imagine that Killzone 3 is better (I have KZ3 and like it, btw)?

getting rather put off by the 'tiny' single player campaign, getting sick of games focusing entirely on multiplayer side of things, I think multiplayer obsession and DLC are slowly killing off games, destroying them as 'art' and turning them all into the same thing. not sure whether I will purchase, might... :confused:

I couldn't agree more, of all the guys I work with I'm the only one remotely interested in MP. As casual single player gamers they are getting very frustrated at the lack of depth and game time in some of the huge titles.

They play games like Killzone and COD and can't see what all the fuss is about because they are not interested in MP and very little effort goes into the SP in some of these titles.

Dudes is this game any good? Some negatives some positives so far. I've been keeping an eye on it with interest primarily for the MP so what's the general opinion? Worth buying or should I stick with BC2?

My american friend(who is the only person on my friends who i've spoken to about this game) said MP is very good.

Bit worried about paying full price for this... But I have been looking forward to it and I could do with something to replace Bad Company 2 as I have overplayed it a little....

So my reason for quoting you is that I am going into town after I finish my cuppa to pick this up and will be playing it today, 360 also if you guys wanna get a squad going!

Be warned though I am still a PC gamer at heart (But my PC sucks and 360 is much easier/gets games first) so am not amazing when it comes to console FPS games :eek:
