Homeworld & Homeworld 2 HD remakes in the works

If space is infinite, shouldn't we need infinite disk space too?

As someone who has never played the series before, and is eagerly awaiting the release of this remastered bundle, whats the general consensus on the sequel? Is it leaps and bound better than 1 and the one I should jump straight into first, or it it worth playing through the original first?

HW1, great story, great narrative, great music, fantastic gameplay, yada, yada, you get the idea:) HW2 better graphics, music I personally found not quite as good as the first, again, fantastic game play, story just as good as the first.
So..play the first to get a feel for the game, then have a bash at the second.
If you like FPS games then you might find these games a tad slow, but if you like planning ahead (to a degree) making slow to moderate progress. like a challenge, then both of these are for you. Either way, deffo worth getting as the first is/was a true classic with the second not far behind.

They've implemented some of the features of Homeworld 2 (such as the improved UI) into Homeworld Remastered so it shouldn't play that differently.
