Erm, yes they do? MotoGP are limited to 21 litres per race and CRT are allowed to use 23 litres per race.

I've just ttok my tablets so still a bit spaced out. I thought the V6 engines came in in 2014?
McLaren have not signed for the new V6 engine with merc for 2014, so what are they using in 2014??
Or will they use the merc V6 in 2014? off to take my nest batch of labtels

That's right yea, they will be using Mercedes engines next year before switching to Honda... Presumably with Mercedes giving away as little information on the engines over the course of next year

McLarens current contract with Mercedes runs until the end of 2014. It was a contract drawn up before the V6 engine format was announced.

I imagine its a bit of a bugger for them. If they could they I expect they would have preferred to swap suppliers when the regs change. It might leave them on the back foot a bit if Mercedes are holding back details of the power unit, especially considering how complex they are going to be.
