HOPEFULLY LESS THAN A YEAR WAIT: New 2018 (MY18) S550.2 Mustang V8 10-speed ordered

Not a fan of the colour and I normally hate wide arch kits, normally tacky, but Roush have simply nailed it, best looking Mustang I've seen full stop I think. :) 23004840_10155739353564795_3933587329079842564_o.jpg

Well why do I want to see 0620rpm at idle ?

It’s a full lcd Panel. It doesn’t need a darker shade of grey for a number that’s not used

I like the way that the numbers on the rev counter are a darker shade, then as the needle approaches a number it brightens, gets it's brightest as the needle is on the number, then darkens slightly again as the needle goes past the number.

The same on the speedo side.

It's a nice touch and attention to detail that I like, and if you don't like the grey/white then change the colours, you can have blue, red, green, orange, or other colours in the My Colour menu, can't do that easily with analogue gauges.

As to not needing zero so why is it there, you do not need the 8 either, never revs that high so why put that in ? Why the 160 on the speedo when it's electronically limited to 155 ? You can go on.

Same thing is on JLR stuff "Torchlight" on the 2010 Jaguar XJ. Good to see them copy :P

I guess the 0 is referring to when its in digital read out not the virtual analogue needle..... Cos 0620rpm does indeed look daft.

Yes exactly, has he even see the video?

It sits at 0620 RPM for most of it and it not like a old petrol station display, its actually been added! Only a Fanboy would think that 0620RPM is better than 620RPM
