Hot Cross Buns

When you buy them from the supermarket, why on earth do they always come in half a dozen packs? Granted, many supermarkets do the buy one pack get one free of buy one for 80p or two for £1, but 6 does not evenly spread around the average household.

I like my halved, toasted and generous quantities of butter spread on it, washed down with a cup of tea. I will only ever eat two at a time, 1 is too little, 3 or more and I'm just being greedy.

sainsburys sell them in 4s atm

As a quick snack, eaten plain and whole with Lurpak in the middle. If eaten for breakfast, toasted on the grill and eaten in halves with plenty of butter.

Plain as sold or with butter and whether it is Toasted/untoasted I don't mind, I'm pretty easy.

Although I do prefer the hot cross buns without the dried fruit in them.
