Crazy, will be interesting to see whether SDLT relief gets extended. I'm a first time buyer and in a position to buy but unsure what to do to be honest!

It's funny how you have people who are constantly whinging about not being able to afford a house and then you have people who are saying that they aren't sure if they should do.

Buy as soon as you can as young as you can and whatever you can if need be.

You can always upgrade in 5,10,15,20 years time.

Personally I'd hold off though under the current market with all the job losses however I don't have a crystal ball so nobody knows for sure what will happen it's speculation. All you can do is roll the dice and hope for the best.

All you can do is make an informed decision and then live with it.

Try and buy in an up and coming area or an area that is well sought after. The better the school the surer the bet is.

Buy in a place which is going downhill, far away from nice places, etc then those properties are harder to shift on and make decent equity on and actually can lose you money rather than make it.
