How can i fix this?

What PSU do you have make/model and wattage? Just wondering whether there's some sort of protection kicking in or if there's not enough juice for it to cope once you start playing a game. How old is the PSU?

my whole pc is 2 years old almost 3 i brought all the parts brand new all at the same time
XFX CORE SERIES 650 WATT PSU
thats the psu i use

UPDATE: Since yesturday i was playing fine and today the problem has started again i was playing diablo 3 this time and bam my whole pc shut down after 10 minutes

Nothing worse than an issue that seems unexplainable. Can you remember downloading anything just before all this happened? It does seem like a hardware issue though. If not shutting down straight away it could be temp issue or CPU faulty?

What make/model is your SSD?

I said list all hardware.

^^

Tell us this.

Some SSDs have known firmware issues, tell us the model to help rule that out.

At first glance, I'd point my finger at the PSU due to the fact that it goes off and doesn't just reboot.

Or overheating.

Run something like Speccy in the background, then alt-tab into it to see what the temps are like mid-game. Especially if it's a 2 year old build, a lot of dust can build up on the CPU/GPU that may not be glaringly obvious until you take it out.

My SSD in a sandisk SDSSDX-120G

things to adjust imo

cpu/pcie clock set manually to 100
vcore voltage response set to fast
pwm phase control set to extreme performance

and in catalyst control centre/amd/overdrive set the power control for your 7970 to 20%

all those will help with stability whether at stock or overclocked

This might not help much but,

Although i have not solved it yet, I too sometimes freeze on the "motherboard" page when i bootup and it is usually solved with me turning it off then back on like you mentioned. I only started to experience this after installing Windows 10, I believe the same version as OP (will have to check).

So it might be a driver/OS issue although I have different components:

MSI X99S Gaming 9 ACK
i7 5820k @ 4.5 GHz
16Gb Ram
MSI 980ti

I know i also had freeze issues on my laptop with windows 10, this turned out to be my on-board sound drivers.

Yeah, checked for loose wires, but it only happens when it game, if someone has skype i could screen share as it would be easier? my skype is: jaackla
if someone wants to do that

Havent got another psu, yeah honestly problems in the past ive been able to fix but this has caught me out, and the fact i can play on pc normally its fine but i load a game and it goes into a meltdown i really have no ideas
