How Corporate Greed is Killing Your Favourite Video Games

I don't buy a single word of it.

Just like the way he claims pro-free speech on twitter yet often allows the deletion of accounts and posts that practice free speech that is not the free speech he agrees with, interesting. Almost certainly these x AI games will be following the sort of right wing agenda that we've come to see from the stuff Musk posts about and the stuff he re-shares on the platform, pretty much exclusively from right wing conspiracy theorists and whatnot.

What kind of games will he be developing after all? No known game IP is going to jump onboard as the IP is owned by another corp, so that just leave new IP, how did his mate's game the Alex Jones video game turn out from last year? Let's dig in and see:

Which is telling because you would not think it was that low going by the steam reviews of the game, is it a simple fact that the steam reviews were mostly padded out by biased accounts, the statistics of the game point to the answer being yes and I suspect that x AI games following a similar trend assuming they too go on Steam although I also suspect they won't go Steam because big corps are trying to hide SteamDB stats like the above to stop the public viewing how much of a flop a game is - Which is exactly what Ubisoft is trying to do right now.

Yup, as per #118, he’s clearly passionate about gaming.

He’s also doing the vast majority of us a favour by calling this DEI nonsense out.

Yes, he bought Twitter for way over what it was worth to secure it, why? Because it was infected by what he calls "The Woke Mind Virus" and Twitter being the worlds public square it was too important to fall to this disease.

When Bob Iger tried to change the moderation policy on X by threatening to pull Disney advertisement off the platform Elon told him "Don't advertise, you're going to bribe me with money? No, go _____ yourself."

He is the richest man on earth, he is incredibly intelligent, IMO this generations Nikola Tesla, he has firm principles and he doesn't care about money, that makes him very dangerous to the establishment, he's not one of them and they hate him for it.

Spotted this in Blues News; it's pretty depressing:

This is the same with almost everything.

The moment you get investors involved and companies run by sales, then it's a recipe for disaster.

Companies need to be run by staff who are passionate about the product, not about the sales.

Look at intel. The company was wrecked by placing a sales guy in control of the company. Such people are passionate about sales, not the product. intel failed to invest in GPU's, AI, Smartphones, you name.. and, boy, are they paying for it now. Another fine example is BOEING.

I don't have strong opinions on Musk either way, I just see he's becoming the poster child for slactivists who think they are sticking it to <what/whom ever> by 'backing him'. By backing him I mean sitting on their fat arse liking tweets or whatever they're called now.

Must be hard to not care about money when you literally have more of it than anyone else in the entire world.

He’s certainly a character, but he does have some odd views, and some even odder pals like Trump.

It hasn’t put me off considering Starlink though!

He does but don't believe everything you see in legacy media, the DOJ are trying to sue SpaceX for not hiring illegal migrants, the Department of Defence literally barred SpaceX from hiring illegal migrants, SpaceX is critical infrastructure to the Department of Defence and hiring none green card holders is illegal, its a security risk, what the DOJ are trying to do is insane, its banana republic lawfare.

You know who does hire illegal migrants? Tesla.

Hopefully after the string of craptastic, woke flops recently (and more coming soon) things will change. They will have to if they want to stay in business.

The first lesson should be do not hire these "DEI consultants".

Same in the UK. You can't have a government job without being a citizen for a certain amount of years here. When it comes to defence, they don't like foreigners in general lol

We need to think of Elon Musk as a fellow gamer, that's exactly what he is.

One of us, when he's complaining about Woke games he's doing that as a gamer.

This aged like milk

Also big lol at “he’s one of us” just because he claims to play video games
