How did you find overclockers? website I mean

Great pings on ISDN for gaming. You'd get called a cheat or LPB. It was expensive though. I think I saw people sub 30 on ISDN or even in the 20s.

Hell yeah! TFC and CS beta. My man ran a gaming lounge back in the day, one of the originals. Miss the social side of that but glad I have a better connection at home

Let me guess - you wanted to know the correct method for pooping through a letterbox?

Well I was hoping someone could tell me where to get a MAC-10 in 10 seconds, but they said "I'm not a shop" and I did Nazi that coming! :D

Ooooo the references :D

Looked at my post history
Seems I was hunting for Radeon Vega leaks some 8 moths before it launched and found a thread on this forum. That was 5 years ago.
Although I consider Vega 64 my worst purchase ever, the forum makes this memory ok.

back in the late 90s I was one of the 3dmark geeks into overclocking and trying to get the best score possible.

I guess I naturally stumbled on overclockers uk because of the name.

If I remember right there were only 3 or 4 online pc retailers back then? people still went to computer fairs

I don't show any loyalty to OCUK though when it comes to purchasing things :P

I was on a competitor forum of a similar name. I'd always shopped from OcUK but I joined the forum late, just before the competitor one shut down.

Got interested in SETI@Home back in 1999 and went looking for a team to join - OcUK was where I landed (I was Ridcully back then)

god knows, but I can remember the old OCUK site. I remember it was like WW3 when they launched the new one :D

I think it must have been an AMD athlon cpu and a new graphics card. The first case I bought from the shop was beige
