How do you decide how to modify your car?

pumabuild prices arent bad then...

14.99 for the main and 3.99 for sidelight :)

Yup not bad, I think delivered mine was £21 all in, along with the "free" sides. Although what bulb fitment are they, powerbulbs only had two bulbs that fitted my dipped beam :( Stupid Renault and their weird connectors.

Annoying thing is I replaced a blown sidelight bulb last week, I'd have waited if I'd have known I was getting these :)

From what i hear they are great a friend swears by them but i think my bulbs are better, could be the car lens unit since mine is newer.

What time you picking the beasty up?

after work today :) ill post when I get in (off round to the gf's parents for dinner, so prolly not till later ;) )

My boss has just got a puma for his wife, he brought into work today for me to listen to a noise on it.

When you blip the throttle it makes a short induction noise(like u get with cone filters) from the inlet manifold area. Is this normal ?

basically, i dont see myself doing anything too crazy... but I MIGHT supercharge it if the guy at work can sort out a reasonable price (he's looking into it now) no idea what sort of power that might give tho...

if I just go nasp, it'll be about 160 bhp (40 more than stock)

I guess the best thing to do is to ask the owners clubs what they recommend.. anyone know what the big puma owners club is?
should not be to bad tbh,
eaton supercharger = no more than £200 of the bay
intercooler again pick up a cossie/saab/anything fmic for £50 - £100 (if you want to run with one that is)
get a larger hg or sandwich plate (bit of a bodge imo though) to fit to drop compression just to be on safe side
pipework silicon boost hoses etc = £100 budget roughly
running low pressure i doubt you need to upgrade pistons so that will not be nothing.
welding for Superchargr mount + intake all depends on if you can weld and how well you can weld no idea how much that will cost since i do my own welding.
then all you need is a belt and pulley and maybe a quick remap :)
i think you could do this conversion yourself to a good standard for under 1k :)
